Owner, Nicole Nusshag, was raised in Spokane, WA where she grew up swimming in lakes, rivers, and pools. Becoming a mother broadened her awareness of the dangers of children around the water. She'd seen a video of an infant "falling" off the step of a pool, rolling over to float and wait for help. This is where the seed was unknowingly planted. While living in Alabama she found an Infant Aquatic Survival Specialist who taught her oldest the swim float swim method. In 2018 she and her family moved to Vail, Arizona where she was searching for an Infant Aquatics Survival Specialist to continue working with. After realizing the need for this specialty in her new neighborhood, she made it a priority to bring this service to her own community. Nicole wants to educate and serve her community where drowning is so prevalent. She wants to spread the word that drowning is silent, doesn't discriminate and IS preventable!
A Quote from Nicole:
"I’m so thrilled to be part of what I consider to be a movement to prevent child drowning. I love that each child is unique in their learning process and that this program conforms to each individual child’s learning abilities. The most rewarding part is actively witnessing everything come together for them in just a few short weeks. You will find me celebrating every victory just as much as the parents do. My mission is to teach as many children as possible and my vision is to never hear or read of another child drowning. I would be truly honored if you choose me to get your child safe and confident in the water."
